Must Have Skills

• Minimum 5 years in a senior engineering role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position within B2B SaaS.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with strong full-stack development experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willingness to learn new skills.

Desired Technical Proficiency

• Frontend: Expertise in React.js and TypeScript.
• Backend: Strong knowledge of Node.js (Express, Nextjs).
• Database Management: Experience with MongoDB, including design and optimization.
• DevOps: Proficiency in AWS for scalable application deployment. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Testing: Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Selenium, Cypress).
• Machine Learning: Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Ability to design and implement ML models.
• Security & Compliance: Understanding of security principles, has been involved in compliance efforts around SOC2/ISO27001/GDPR.
• Best Practices: Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team. Manage recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.
• Collaborate with other teams, co-founders, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Streamline engineering processes and practices to optimize team performance and productivity.
• Devote 20% of your time to resolving technical issues and shipping features.
• Assist in long-term planning and strategic initiatives for the engineering department.
• Implement and maintain robust testing and QA processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
