Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team. Manage recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with other teams, co-founders and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline engineering processes and practices to optimize team performance and productivity.
  • Hands-On Engineering: Devote 20% of your time to resolving technical issues, and shipping features.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in long-term planning and strategic initiatives for the engineering department.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust testing and QA processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.


Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior engineering role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position within B2B SaaS.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with strong full-stack development experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • A passion and understanding of the ups and downs of startup life, thriving in this challenging but massively rewarding journey
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willingness to learn new skills.


Desired Technical Proficiency:

  • Frontend: Expertise in React.js and TypeScript.
  • Backend: Strong knowledge of Node.js (Express, Nextjs).
  • Database Management: Experience with MongoDB, including design and optimization.
  • DevOps: Proficiency in AWS for scalable application deployment. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Testing: Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Selenium, Cypress).
  • Machine Learning: Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Ability to design and implement ML models.
  • Security & Compliance: Understanding of security principles, has been involved in compliance efforts around SOC2/ISO27001/GDPR
  • Best Practices: Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
