Senior Software Engineer

Our startup client requires a Software Engineer to join their core team in London as their first dedicated software engineer. This role offers a unique opportunity for significant autonomy and influence over the development and direction of their platform and product. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a robust cloud platform for scheduling and managing the training and deployment of custom AI models.
• Create an advanced web-based image manipulation application for preprocessing image data used in machine learning model training.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from initial design through to deployment and maintenance.

Technologies Used:

• Frontend/Backend: TypeScript with React/Next.js and Express/Prisma
• Machine Learning: Python
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform (AWS)
• Database: PostgreSQL
• CI/CD: GitHub, GitHub Actions

What They’re Looking For:

• +3 years of experience as a product-focused software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in writing well-tested, maintainable code with a statically typed language (e.g., TypeScript, Go, Java, Scala).
• A product-oriented mindset with experience in customer engagement, product definition, and end-to-end feature delivery.
• Comfortable working across the full technology stack.
