Site Lead – Generative AI Sports Analytics

The Role:

As the Head of Engineering / Site Lead, you'll be at the helm of building both the product and the Belfast team. Working with state-of-the-art AI to deliver game-changing sports betting solutions, you’ll drive the technical strategy while staying close to the code. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in both leadership and hands-on development. Key responsibilities include:

• Product Leadership: Spearhead the development of AI-driven applications, using Python to build scalable, cloud-agnostic systems (with a preference for Azure).
• Team Building: Recruit, develop, and lead a team of engineers in Belfast, establishing the technical hub for the company.
• Hands-on Development: Stay actively involved in the codebase, making architectural decisions and contributing to key features.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience leading engineering teams in fast-paced, startup environments, particularly in AI, machine learning, or analytics-driven products.
• Strong Python expertise and a background in cloud platforms—whether it’s Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• A passion for sports technology and a desire to be part of the next big thing in sports betting and analytics.
• Proven ability to build and scale engineering teams while keeping a hands-on approach to development.
• Strategic vision and the ability to make high-impact technical decisions that drive success.
