Role Overview:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll be a vital member of a skilled team dedicated to transforming the energy landscape in the UK and beyond. You'll use data to modernize energy systems and help achieve net-zero targets, making tangible positive changes through the products you design and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction:Extract insights from data to create impactful products for battery owners and the energy grid.
• Model Development:Design and refine machine learning models used continuously for energy trading.
• Product Monitoring:Oversee the performance of your models and iterate for constant improvement.
• Team Collaboration:Work within a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality products.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education:Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Experience:At least 3 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, creating products with real-world impact.
• Skills:Proficient in various algorithms, applied statistics, and probability.
• Communication:Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Optimization:Knowledge of optimization techniques for complex problems.
