We are seeking aPresales Solutions Director/Lead to lead the pre-sales solutions function at Luminance. This senior role will oversee theTech Sales Specialists andpre-sales focused Solutions Engineers, ensuring every customer engagement demonstrates the breadth and depth of Luminance’s technology.

This is a pivotal role at the intersection ofSales, Product, and Customer Success. You will set the standard for how Luminance positions its:

  • AI technology and unique Legal-Grade™ approach
  • Technical architecture and security posture
  • Integration Components (200+ OOTB integrations)
  • Customer environment strategy (deployment, scaling, compliance, cloud ops)

You’ll also personally support large enterprise opportunities and demonstrate how Luminance isenterprise-ready across AI, architecture, integrations, and customer success.

This is both aleadership role (managing, developing and coaching the pre-sales function) and ahands-on role (supporting key strategic opportunities).

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and grow Tech Sales Specialists and pre-sales focused Solutions Engineers.
  • Define best practices, playbooks, and enablement material for consistent pre-sales execution.
  • Partner with VP Client Solutions to evolve the global Solutions operating model.

Customer Engagement

  • Act as senior technical authority in enterprise engagements.
  • Support AEs on large strategic deals
  • Build credibility with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and Legal Ops leaders by articulating the enterprise readiness of Luminance.

Technical Messaging & Enablement

  • Own the technical narrative across:
    • AI: explain how our Legal-Grade™ AI works, why it’s unique, and how it adds value.
    • Architecture: explain scalability, resilience, and security of our platform.
    • Integration Components: highlight 200+ OOTB integrations and enterprise design partnerships (SAP, Oracle).
    • Customer Environments: educate customers on deployment models, scaling strategies, and compliance posture.
  • Create repeatable assets: demo videos, one-pagers, reference architectures, FAQ guides.
  • Instill adocumentation-first culture in pre-sales: create the solution design assets that help accelerate time to value post-sale.

Sales Engineering Excellence

  • Oversee tailored demo builds and support Proof of Value trials for large enterprise customers.
  • Build and maintain a library of demos, one-pagers, and technical deep-dive materials for the most in-demand integrations and AI use cases.
  • Ensure technical feedback loops reach Product and Engineering.
