Role Description


We are seeking a motivated and enthusiasticSales Executiveto join us at our branch in Aylesbury. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, driving sales, and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner. It is essential that you have experience selling building materials for this position but there more to it than that – you will need to be a team player who wants to get involved in all aspects of the branch.


You will be a crucial part of a small team and you will occasionally be required to operate the forklift and provide cover in the yard/warehouse as part of your role.


The successful candidate will be results driven and business focused with strong communication and negotiation skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.You will have two years’ minimum background in the construction supply or building materials sector, ideally with experience in civils and groundworks. The ability to drive a forklift is an advantage.


Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri

Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme


Requirements


  • Sales experience and the ability to achieve results and hit targets
  • Experience in the Builders Merchants industry, ideally with a knowledge of civils
  • Ability to drive a forklift/willingness to learn
  • Commitment to delivering and maintaining fantastic customer service
  • Ability to work in a team and to contribute to a dynamic team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency
  • Eligible to work in the UK
