Storeperson Mechanic Job Number: HCAA02170 DBSRequired: No Agreement Type: Permanent - Full Time ContractedHours: 36 Salary: £34,770 - £35,862 We are looking for amechanic/storeperson to work with the housing grounds maintenanceteam to manage the procurement, maintenance, and servicing of itshorticultural machinery to ensure Hackney’s environments are clean,safe, and green. You will also be responsible for the upkeep andmaintenance of our three depots, liaising with contractors tocomplete any major changes and addressing minor issues yourself.The majority of your working day will be to ensure that the fleetof machines are working correctly so a practical knowledge ofmachine maintenance is essential, you will need to induct staff onthe safe use of all machinery. You will be a well organisedindividual with the ability to use IT systems to store servicingand maintenance information and be responsible for the issuing ofPersonal Protective Equipment in relation to specific tasks, thestorage and inventory of these items and the general storage ofmaterials are a key element of the role.
