Robert Half are working with a rapidly growing organisation on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Developer with a strong background in AWS, cloud integration and event-driven architecture. The organisation is actively embracing AI and agentic services, primarily within AWS, with some GCP involvement.

You will play a key role in developing and enhancing a cloud-native middleware platform, building robust system-to-system integrations across a growing technology estate.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS
  • Excellent TypeScript / Node.js and/or Python development experience
  • Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, EventBridge and CloudWatch
  • Practical knowledge of event-driven architecture
  • Experience building scalable, serverless applications
  • Strong API and enterprise/system integration experience
  • Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and/or AWS CDK
  • Experience with RDS or DynamoDB
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Git-based workflows and DevOps practices
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and CloudWatch
  • Exposure to unit and integration testing

This is a highly collaborative role, working as part of a multidisciplinary delivery team alongside Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and subject matter experts.
