SEO, Content & Automations Manager

Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

About the Role

We are recruiting for an SEO, Content & Automations Manager to take ownership of SEO performance, content production and workflow automation across a growing digital business.

This is a hands-on role combining traditional SEO expertise with emerging AI search optimisation and automation. You'll play a key role in improving organic visibility, enhancing content performance and developing automated workflows that increase efficiency across marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day SEO strategy and execution
  • Produce, edit and optimise content for search performance
  • Develop strategies for AI-driven search platforms and answer engines
  • Monitor and improve content visibility across AI-powered discovery channels
  • Optimise structured data, content formats and technical SEO signals
  • Stay ahead of industry developments in AI and search behaviour
  • Design, build and maintain workflow automations using tools such as n8n, Zapier or similar
  • Identify manual processes and create scalable automation solutions
  • Use SEO tools to analyse performance, identify opportunities and manage technical fixes
  • Support wider technical SEO initiatives and ongoing website optimisation
About YouEssential Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years' experience in SEO, Content Marketing or Digital Marketing
  • Strong understanding of SEO and content best practices
  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Screaming Frog
  • Experience building workflow automations using tools such as n8n, Zapier or Make
  • Strong interest in AI search, Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)
  • Highly organised with excellent project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
Desirable
  • Experience with Python or JavaScript
  • Affiliate marketing experience
  • German and/or French language skills
