We're on a mission to change the way businesses make decisions with our cutting-edge AI technology. To achieve that, we’re looking for passionate people to join our open and inclusive workplace. Our inclusive environment welcomes skills and experiences from diverse backgrounds, and defines who we are.

About Signal

At Signal we want to help organisations identify risks and opportunities and see movements in the market before anyone else. We want to help leaders make bold decisions, safe that the data is on their side. We want to connect all those external data points together, uncover the unknown unknowns, and be at the very heart of the knowledge economy.

We’ve already built a world-class artificial intelligence platform for real-time information aggregation and analysis at a massive scale. We proved our value with monitoring and measurement products in the PR&Comms space, and are now joining the dots beyond.

We are friendly and informal people who are passionate about our brand as we all have a stake in our success. We have an inclusive environment, welcoming the skills and experience from many diverse backgrounds, and together we have created who we are and what we sell. We are proud of our achievements and continue to strive for the unknown.

What you’ll be doing

This role suits someone with a strong product mindset who is comfortable tackling complex problems across the full stack. You’ll be confident in web semantics and in working with design systems to deliver high-quality user experiences, as well as in consuming and extending existing APIs written in JavaScript, Python, and Clojure.

As member of the Reputation Team you will be:

  • Work in a highly collaborative environment, with a significant amount of time spent pair programming

  • Maintain and evolve an existing web-based product

  • Implement and maintain the infrastructure supporting your team’s services, using Terraform for Infrastructure as code and AWS as cloud provider

  • Building and operate services capable of handling large volumes of data

  • Work across a varied technology stack, including Clojure, Python, React, and GraphQL

  • Work with both relational and non-relational databases and storage systems (e.g. ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, S3, Redis)

  • Collaborate on defining and delivering products from both technical and product perspectives

  • Communicate effectively with other teams and stakeholders as needed

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced engineers

The Signal AI Way

We want you to apply for this position. We want people to enjoy a good experience at Signal AI and we appreciate your professional needs might be different to what we can offer.

  • Thriving in Dynamic Environments: If you thrive on stability and predictability, you might find our dynamic environment challenging. Our team frequently adapts to changing priorities, which can be incredibly exciting and rewarding for those who enjoy a fast-paced, ever-evolving workplace.

  • Versatile Skill Set: We value versatility and the ability to work on both back-end and front-end development. If you are passionate about expanding your skills across different areas, you'll find this role enriching and fulfilling.

  • Collaborative Communication: Our culture emphasises building strong communication paths with various teams and stakeholders. If you enjoy collaborative problem-solving and sharing insights, you'll fit right in.

  • Team-Oriented Programming: We encourage pair-programming and team collaboration as the default working paradigm over solo work. If you find joy in teamwork and learning from peers, you'll thrive here.

  • Flexible Coding Approaches: While we respect the discipline of TDD, we also appreciate flexible and innovative approaches to coding and pragmatic testing patterns. If you're open to experimenting with different methodologies, this role offers a great opportunity to broaden your horizons.

If these aspects align with your professional values and aspirations, we believe you'll find a rewarding career with us at Signal AI.

Not sure you meet every requirement? Studies show that women and other underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they check every box. At Signal AI, diverse perspectives strengthen our teams, drive innovation, and lead to better performance. So even if your background doesn’t align perfectly with each qualification, we encourage you to apply if you’re passionate about this role.

We're dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every Signaller feels welcomed, valued, and heard—a place where you can truly thrive as yourself.

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Advertising AI jobs in the UK requires a different approach to most technical hiring. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.

AI Jobs UK 2026: What to Expect Over the Next 3 Years

Artificial intelligence is creating jobs faster than the market can name them. New roles are appearing every quarter, existing titles are splitting into specialisms, and the technologies underpinning it all are evolving at a pace that makes even last year's job descriptions feel dated. For job seekers, this presents a genuinely unusual challenge. In most industries, career planning means understanding a relatively stable landscape and working out where you fit within it. In AI, the landscape itself is being redrawn in real time. The roles with the most hiring activity in 2028 may not yet have a widely agreed job title in 2026. That's not a reason to feel overwhelmed — it's a reason to get informed. The candidates who thrive in this market aren't necessarily those with the longest CVs or the most credentials. They're the ones who understand the direction of travel: which skills are gaining value, which technologies are driving employer decisions, and how the definition of an "AI job" is expanding well beyond the tech sector. This article breaks down what the UK AI jobs market is likely to look like over the next three years — covering emerging job titles, the technologies reshaping hiring, the skills employers are prioritising, and how to position yourself ahead of the curve rather than behind it.

New AI Employers to Watch in 2026: UK and Global Companies Reshaping AI Careers

The artificial intelligence job market in the UK is evolving at an extraordinary pace. With record-breaking investment, government backing, and a surge in enterprise adoption, the landscape of AI employers is shifting rapidly. For candidates exploring opportunities on ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, understanding who is hiring next is just as important as understanding what skills are in demand. In this article, we explore the new and emerging AI employers to watch in 2026, focusing on organisations that have recently secured funding, won major contracts, or expanded their UK footprint. From cutting-edge startups to global giants doubling down on Britain, these companies represent the next wave of AI career opportunities.
