I'm looking for a Senior hands-on Developer with Data Engineering and AI experience to join the newly established Technology and Innovation function of a successful Financial Advisory firm in London. It's a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in their Central London office to collaborate with your team and the wider business.

Having recently embarked on a company-wide digital transformation programme, they are now looking for an experienced Developer to lead on the design and implementation of new AI solutions (e.g. custom GPTs and Chatbots), drive automation to improve the efficiency of business processes, and extract better commercial insight from a range of data sources to inform decision-making.

As a Senior member of this growing team, you'll be responsible for mentoring new-joiners, taking ownership of projects, and implementing best-practices.

Their tech stack largely Microsoft focused (using Azure and Power Platform), with some Oracle databases, and varied other data sources, yet they are very open to introducing new and emerging technologies in the future.

This is an incredibly exciting time to join the business, and play a key role in really driving the use of AI and advanced analytics techniques to accelerate their journey to becoming a truly tech-driven and data-driven organisation.

Requirements:

Data Engineering experience - including building data models and structuring databases
Proven experience building AI capabilities
Excellent skills in Python
Strong understanding of automation and how this drives operational efficiency
Experience mentoring or leading others
Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skillsBenefits:

Salary up to £100,000 depending on experience
Bonus up to 20-30%

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise AI jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards and communities that reach AI engineers, ML scientists and applied research talent in the UK. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.
