What you'll be doing

You will sit within the Data & Business Intelligence team within Future and report directly into the Data Science Manager. The team is guiding the business to become more data-driven.

We believe data is fundamental for decision-making. Our data scientists use this data to deliver predictive data products that can help the business to understand, and in turn shape, how it operates.

You'll take the lead on a varied projects: building our advanced advertising engine. By using our massive and complex datasets, you will design and deploy the machine learning models that form the predictive core of our platform. Your work will directly power our ability to forecast audience behaviour, predict campaign trajectories, and develop the core intelligence to power the future of ad targeting for our clients.

This is a hands-on, creative role with the scope to build new systems, not just maintain existing ones, in a evolving space. You will work with our engineering, product, and client strategy teams to embed you directly into our products and ensure your work drives real-world value.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

An understanding of statistics A proficiency in python for data science skills Experience with cloud compute platforms, like GCP Experience with big data is desirable Experience deploying data science solutions is desirable but not essential Experience with SQL to work with data storage systems Knowledge of software engineering best practices such as version control, design patterns, project structures Able to explain technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences. Collaboration skills to work within project teams and wider data science and data teams Contribute to a new and developing field with few standardised approaches will be important.

The expected range for this role is £45,000 - £55,000

This is a Hybrid role from our Bath or Cardiff Office, working three days from the office, two from home
