Change & Transformation AI Leader - eFinancialCareers

Our client, a leading global Legal / Professional Services firm with a growing Fund Services / Fiduciary arm, is looking for a talented Change and Transformation professional with proven experience in AI strategy and delivery – preferably from a legal or professional services background.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. The firm is at a relatively early stage in its AI journey translating their AI strategy into tangible enterprise-wide outcomes.
2. Whilst reviewing their current internal capabilities and resources they are keen to explore the market for an interim or permanent external resource who can bring strong execution discipline with cultural sensitivity.
3. There is a recognition of the importance of bringing the whole organisation along by building trust, confidence, and engagement in AI across all service lines.
4. A key focus is on moving AI from initial pilots into scalable, embedded capabilities within day-to-day workflows, ensuring initiatives are prioritised effectively, aligned to the firm’s risk appetite and regulatory environment, and deliver measurable value in terms of efficiency, quality, and risk management.
5. This includes translating complex developments in areas such as generative and agentic AI into practical business use cases. Central to this is fostering an AI-literate organisation through clear communication, training, and responsible change management, enabling employees to feel comfortable, supported and confident in adopting AI.
6. Operating through a hybrid leadership model and supported by key AI dedicated IT team members, there is a need for significant cross-functional influence and executive engagement with the Board, while leading the cultural and organisational transition required to successfully implement and deliver the firm’s current AI roadmap.

Experience:

1. Strong track record in Change and Transformation – particularly being a Subject Matter Expert in the AI space including managing the adoption of AI across the business [preferably legal or professional services] with an operational and strategic remit at a senior level.
2. The ability to provide strategic thinking and advisory experience in the areas of change impacting people, behaviours, culture, processes and technologies.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills including senior (board-level) stakeholder management and project / programme management skills.
4. A positive, creative and confident outlook, able to evolve and embed new AI processes and platforms on a global level.
