Marketplace is hiring! We are searching for a Technical Product Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping ourselves as a tech leader in the US market. Reporting to the UK-based Product Director, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and influence core areas of our business by optimizing our lead generation and comparison products, especially in collaboration with SEM and Paid Media teams. You will help shape product strategy, ensuring it aligns with both business goals and the needs of major publishing partners in a dynamic environment that values innovation, creativity, and adaptability.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring the delivery of innovative and data-driven solutions that meet consumer and publisher needs, and work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritise and validate product ideas.
  • Collaborate with Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and SEM/Paid Media teams to ensure successful execution of product initiatives. Work through influence and partnership to deliver on technical and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with SEM and Paid Media specialists to optimize products for lead generation across search, display, social, and other paid channels. Leverage data insights to continuously enhance product performance.
  • Track and analyze product metrics, particularly in paid channels, to identify optimization opportunities and ensure alignment with business objectives such as conversion rates, ROI, and customer engagement.
  • Act as a bridge between various teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across functions. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, manage expectations, and drive product success.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure the impact of product initiatives. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimize product performance.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, preferably within the lead generation, comparison sites, or SEM/Paid Media space. Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, Health, Home, or Legal sectors is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Media channels, and their role in driving lead generation. Experience optimizing for search, display, social, and other paid media.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering and data teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and presenting ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
