We’re building a world-class client success organization. In this role, you’ll be involved in building client relationships and managing a portfolio of data science engagements.

The engagement director works closely with the director of client success and technical delivery leads to manage client relationships, ensure the overall success of data science projects, and drive retention, new revenue, and customer satisfaction.

How you'll help:

  • Build credibility by developing deep knowledge of clients’ strategic needs and aligning those needs with data science analytics opportunities, solutions within ESource Data Science, and industry best practices.
  • Create persuasive presentations and content to showcase project impacts, establish expertise, and support stakeholder engagement.
  • Translate complex topics clearly and consistently for clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Collaborate with technical project leads to ensure on-time delivery, monitor project hours, and manage project margins.
  • Use strategic thinking to anticipate project needs and influence outcomes to ensure client success.
  • Develop customized plans to communicate value, enhance customer satisfaction, and encourage renewals and advocacy.
  • Support the development of industry-leading data science offerings by incorporating client feedback and connecting needs with company capabilities.
  • Develop strategies to expand influence within current clients and promote our services effectively.
  • Scope new projects with existing clients and assist in proposal development to drive revenue growth.

  • Experience with utility grids or highly regulated industries is preferred

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent post-baccalaureate experience
  • Management consulting background
  • Experience in data science, analytics, or related technical fields
