This post is based in the Plastic Surgery Out-patient's Department at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The Plastic Surgery Unit covers the West of Scotland.

The clinic cares for patients who have underwent reconstructive surgery for skin cancer, breast cancer and traumatic injuries. One of the main roles is providing wound care for the patients group we care for. Within the service, is a multi-disciplinary team with medical staff, nurses, healthcare support workers, physiotherapists and specialist nurses. We also work closely with our periphery hospitals and refer our patients to community colleagues based in local treatment rooms and District Nursing Teams Working hours are Monday to Friday 9-5. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work to high standards in a fast-paced environment. You will be flexible, forward thinking and able to work effectively within a changing and dynamic environment.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
