NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. The shift pattern for this position is Monday - Friday.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Tier 4 CAMHS hub within Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The hub incorporates three clinical Pathways including Learning Disabilities, Forensic and Complex Trauma.

We are seeking candidates with a broad range of clinical experience within Mental Health and Neurodevelopmental disorders. Experience within Learning disabilities or Forensic is desirable but not essential.

You will be joining a dynamic and supportive clinical team as well as being part of the wider Tier 4 CAMHS OT team. Clinical supervision, caseload/workload management and mentoring are all integral within the role and service.

Continued professional development is of key importance and opportunities will be available to develop your knowledge and skills. Including and not exhaustive of full induction, Essential to CAMHS, peer support groups, shadowing and Specialist Children’s Service OT network and learning events.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
