Senior Software Testing Engineer, Camberely , £60k - £65k

Hexwired Recruitment have partnered with a growing digital communication technology company. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Software Testing Engineer to implement testing, develop automated tests and integrate these into CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in Python, C and C++, along with a solid understanding of Linux OS and software quality practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing Tools: Choose, configure, and execute tools for static code analysis and code coverage to uphold high software quality standards.
  
  
• Test Development: Develop, maintain, and run unit tests for software to ensure reliable and robust functionality.
  
  
• Automation: Design and implement automation frameworks using Python, integrating them into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  
  
• CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with tools such as GitLab and Jenkins to ensure ongoing testing within the software development lifecycle.
  
  
• Linux Expertise: Utilise Linux OS for testing, debugging, and ensuring compatibility within a Linuxbased environment.
  
  Required Skills and Experience
  
  
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation.
  
  
• At least intermediatelevel expertise in C and C++.
  
  
• Experience working in a Linux OS environment.
  
  
• Proven track record in designing and executing automated testing processes.
  
  
• Solid understanding of software quality assurance principles and best practices
