Senior People Partner

Reporting to our Chief People Office you willbe a trusted partner working closely with management and employees providing handson and strategic input insight and advice on all peoplerelated matters. Working across the organisation youll be able toidentify gaps and problems quickly come up withsolutions and implement theseacross the organisation.

You willneed to bestrategic operational and tactical as well as influence effectively across all levels of the company building and maintaining excellent working relationships and being able toexpertly navigate ambiguity recognising when it is appropriate to introduce more structure and process without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

Vaarst is an exciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely to change as we grow upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming a trusted partner to managers and key business leaders. Recognized for their People knowledge and insights.
  • Responsible for and drive improvements to the endtoend employee lifecycle and employee experience. This covers talent management employee relations coaching/development compliance compensation and benefits culture and organizational design and development.
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of key drivers of engagement and be able to take targeted action to enhance the employee experience.
  • Experienced working across all levels; strategic operational and tactical as well as the ability to influence effectively across all levels of the company.

  • Significant experience as a Senior Business Partner in a fastpaced changing organisationwith demonstratable impact in creating fun workplaces where people love to work
  • Experienced at introducing new tools and processes into the business at the right time to get maximum impact creating a highperformance culture without unnecessary bureaucracy. Able to harness the power of technology to facilitate business growth.
  • Clear concise effective communicator. Persuasive can debate and challenge within the team and with peers across the company.
  • Very strong ability to use quantitative data and metrics to drive decision making that will impact business success.
  • Identifies work that needs to be done proposes solutions and executes independently.
  • A culture champion with a genuine belief in company values and a passion for making the company a great place to work.
  • Progressive inclusive and passionate about widening access into demographically unbalanced industries.

  • International experience as we expand into the Americas Asia Pacific Europe and Africa.
  • Implementing technology and AI tools into the people teams practice
  • Offshore and Subsea engineering including offshore wind and renewable industries

Interview Process

At Vaarst weve designed a straightforward interview process to ensure the best fit for both you and the company. We have adopted anonymised recruitment. This means that your name date of birth and other personal details will not be seen by the hiring team.

  2. Talent Partner Interview:We will tell you more about the role the team and Vaarsts mission. This is a twoway conversation; we want to learn about your motivation what you can bring to Vaarst and provide answers to your questions.
  3. Aptitude Test:Demonstrate your critical thinking problemsolving abilities and workplace personality through an aptitude test.
  4. Team Interview:Engage in a 1hour 30 minute interview with a few team members. Experience the role firsthand and share your skills and experience. Well discuss our technologies key skills and team dynamics. As always feel free to ask any questions you may have.
  5. Executive Conversation:Meet with an executive for a 30minute discussion. This is your opportunity to express your thoughts on the role and ask any final questions. Well clarify expectations and ensure this role aligns with your aspirations.
