Senior Data Analyst - Insurance / Jira / Confluence / Cloud / SQL We are assisting one of our key insurance clients by looking for a Senior Data Analyst/Senior Consultant to join a Data project, offering essential Data & Analytics support to the Transformation Program aimed at addressing key business inquiries. This position will oversee the analysis of both existing and target data & reporting assets, collaborating with business sponsors, report and data owners, the Data & Analytics team, Application Development, and Business Analysts from partnering Transformation Projects. Clear communication of requirements and expectations at the program level will be essential. Key Responsibilities: Identify and document Enterprise reporting and analytics needs through collaboration with business stakeholders and Transformation Projects. Take an inventory of current Enterprise reporting at the levels of attributes, metrics, and dimensions, organized by application, server, schema, and table. Conduct a gap analysis between current ('as-is') and required ('target') data assets for applications within the Transformation program's scope. Measure and document any gaps in data availability, format, and quality that affect target deliverables. Communicate findings and obtain approval for the gap analysis from relevant Transformation Projects and their sponsors. Desired Skills and Personal Attributes: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. High familiarity with Cloud Data Solutions (e.g., GCP), SQL/BigQuery, and proficiency in a programming language such as Python or R. Experience with Business Intelligence and Visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI. Background in Data Integration processes, with a solid understanding of best practices in data integration and validation. Experience with data mining and exploration, as well as statistical analysis methods. AI/machine learning skills are a significant advantage. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing requirements. Experience in data governance, including data quality and master data management.
