Senior Corporate Counsel - Intellectual Property &Artificial Intelligence (m/f/d) Process|Program Management|Legaland Contractual compliance Company: ITL Germany Requisition ID:131038BR Role: Senior Corporate Counsel – Intellectual Property& Artificial Intelligence Location: The Netherlands, Germany orthe UK (Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London) We are looking for a SeniorCorporate Counsel to join our global IP team in Europe or the UK.You can be based outside of Amsterdam, Frankfurt or London, but youshould be able to commute to the Amsterdam/Frankfurt/Canary Wharfoffice from time to time as required. You will work with the IPtransactions legal team as well as the wider global IP legal teamon the full life cycle of IP, AI and data privacy law mattersincluding but not limited to: - Provide guidance to the businessteams regarding the compliance requirements around the use ofArtificial Intelligence (AI) technology. Also, drive negotiationson AI-related terms in vendor and client contracts. - Collaboratewith various stakeholders across the organization to developprocesses related to AI adaption. - Understand and Interpret AIlaws in UK and Europe and their applicability to Infosys business.- Collaborate with internal teams to strategically engage withgovernment regulators and agencies. - Review technical & legalaspects of services or product agreements. Sensitize technologyteams of risks and negotiate with clients, vendors or partners. -Manage overall Intellectual Property (IP), AI and data privacy riskassessment process for proprietary product/platform development. -Engage with business teams to understand technical & commercialcontexts and translate the requirements for drafting of legalagreements from IP, AI and data privacy perspective. - Conductlegal research on emerging AI legal regulation to enhance awarenessand update contractual positions. - Support in developing andcreating IP and AI material for imparting IP and AI awareness inthe organization. This role is very broad in scope and can vary ona day-to-day basis depending on what our business requires. We arelooking for someone who is a ‘team player’, enjoys a challenge,wants to work in a fast moving and fluid environment and who workswell with people across cultures and geographies. Not only does therole cover all EMEA countries but requires working regularly withour “offshore” teams around the globe. Qualifications and SkillsetIt is essential that you can demonstrate experience of advisingacross European jurisdictions. We are looking for someone who isflexible and motivated to deliver outcomes and with an ability toadapt and be pro-active in an ever-changing environment. Ideallyyou would have: - 8-12 years’ work experience in a corporateenvironment or a law firm. - LLB or LLM - Technical (preferably inelectronic/software) background would be preferred - Familiaritywith the fundamentals of AI technology and awareness of regulatorydevelopments across different jurisdictions, especially in EU andUK. - Strong understanding of different contracts such as MSA,software license agreements, SaaS, teaming agreement, MOU etc. -Keen interest in emerging technology areas such as AI, IoT, Cloud,security etc is must. - Clear understanding of IP conceptsincluding patents, copyright and trade secret. Practical knowledgeof issues such as fair use, derivative works, authorship,infringement, licensing principles, risk scenarios in softwareindustry etc. - Strong oral and written communication skills. -Must be able to demonstrate/show examples of solutions provided tocomplex techno- legal issues. - Ability to work independently andas part of a team. - Must have the ability to analyse and applylogical reasoning while addressing issues.
