🚀We are looking for a senior full stack engineer to join our team. This role is suitable for someone who is in a Senior Engineer position, has worked across different tech stacks both front and back end, and has had a broad experience tackling problems with around 5-8 years experience. BlckBx Personal Assistance (B2B2C and B2C) - this is subscription to outsource all of your personal tasks and to-do lists to a dedicated BlckBx Assistant. Our platform is powered by AI which supercharges the Assistant to carry out work at 3% the cost of a traditional PA. This is provided as an employee benefit and a privately paid service.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible to work with the team to develop and maintain our internal web applications, platforms and client facing websites and App. You’d be working on front-end and back-end development, as well as databases and APIs. And you’d be co- managing the product end to end working directly with the CEO and Founder.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Build and maintain scalable web applications with modern web technologies
  • Develop, test, and deploy code in production environments
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards
  • Act as a gatekeeper for our production environment
  • Mentor developers and manage the team
  • Work with third party UX/UI designers  
  • Talk to customers to get feedback


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE


  • Front-end and back-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP
  • Modern front-end frameworks: React, Vue.js
  • Database technologies: MySQL, Airtable
  • AWS 
  • Apache, Nginx, Linux (bonus)
  • Git and version control
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of AI/ML (advantageous)
  • English - Fluent (and UK resident)


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science 
  • Master an advantage
