After successfully securing a £45million investment to fuel our ongoing growth and to further invest in our AI products, we are delighted to be launching a new Hub in Belfast and are looking for a Lead Business Analyst with data migration/ software configuration and upgrade experience to join us in our Professional Services Team.
As Lead Business Analyst at Napier, you will demonstrate successful ownership of solution definition and requirements activities for product implementations, whether SAAS or on-premise, particularly in supplier applications with complex data requirements.
You will possess a strong background in analysing requirements workstreams for medium to large-scale client projects across compliance and risk disciplines, with a deep understanding of AML regulatory obligations and a pragmatic, solution-focused approach to success. As a confident communicator and reliable stakeholder, the Lead Business Analyst should excel in building robust client relationships and seamlessly translating complex product capabilities.
Your day to day: Lead Business Analyst
- Serve as a reliable stakeholder, taking ownership of deep-diving into clients' compliance business processes and requirements, advising them on how Napier’s capabilities can fulfil identified functional requirements.
- Lead and drive design activities with a pragmatic yet solution-centric focus to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Manage a varied range of client-side and internal relationships, providing essential guidance and asking the right questions.
- Jointly own complex solution definitions, requirements, and activities in product implementations of SAAS/cloud, or on-premises, supplier applications with complex data requirements.
- Provide team-level support in project implementation, including product orientation/user training/demonstrations and testing work (limited to specified product functional configuration).
- Support the deal team with solution design, leveraging business process thinking and high-quality client-facing experience in financial services.
- Enhance requirements capture through workshops, process design, and documentation, adding an additional layer of depth to current roles.
- Support enhanced tuning, including refining true hit stats and reducing false positive stats, leveraging experience with data remediation programs.
Do you have what it takes?
- Strong background in analysing highly involved requirements and workstreams across medium and large-scale client projects in financial compliance and risk disciplines.
- Deep understanding of AML/Compliance regulatory obligations and a pragmatic, solution-focused approach to success.
- Act as a Napier product SME by maintaining a deep and broad understanding of the Napier product suites.
- Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders to clarify client functional and technical requirements and provide input into Napier’s roadmap.
- Keep abreast of the latest product developmental changes, delivering product orientation-level training and system demonstrations as part of project support at the team level.
- Good understanding of the standard development lifecycle and ability to reference technical analysis related to system/platforms.
- Support/participate in related internal projects and initiatives within Professional Services to ensure excellence in professional service deliveries.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced and lean environment, demonstrating lateral thinking, pragmatism, and a solution-focused mindset.
- Ability to navigate and perform in stakeholder environments, with a confident communicator and client-focused mindset.
