Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.Job responsibilitiesExecutes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCollaborate with other cloud platform engineering teams to enable the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable applications on the cloudStaying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and bring in recommendations for adoption and implementation of new tools/technologies.Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for the cloud.Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.Being a good team player and assist junior team members and create collaborative environmentTroubleshoot and debug issues in production environments and provide timely resolutionsEnsure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integrationRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience.Proficiency in coding in Java is essential for this role.Experience with AWS services, including ECS / EKS, MSK, DynamoDB and Lambda is highly advantageous.Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).Desirable qualifications, capabilities, and skillsAWS certification are highly preferred.Experience in using Kafka on Cloud/AWS experience*Please note that this role will be working on a hybrid model of 3 days minimum office based and up to 2 days WFH.We are committed to offering an inclusive recruitment experience.
