Generative AI Engineer

Job Title: AI/ML Lead - Large Language Models (LLM) Location: Remote UK Client: Leading AI firm Salary: £80-90k Job Description: We are seeking an AI/ML Lead with deep expertise in Large Language Models to join our expanding team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of LLM solutions, working closely with our partnered AI firm to harness the latest technologies. Job Responsibilities: Lead the execution and deployment of LLM-based AI solutions to solve complex business challenges. Develop robust, scalable, and reusable AI and LLM functionalities, ensuring they are production-ready and aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with software engineering teams to design and implement Machine Learning services that integrate seamlessly into key systems. Stay at the forefront of AI and LLM trends, utilizing innovative methods such as few-shot and zero-shot learning to generate business value. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related highly quantitative field. Significant industry experience in an applied Machine Learning or Data Science role, with a focus on LLMs. Hands-on experience in developing, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs such as GPT, BERT, or similar in production at scale. Proficiency in Python and popular Data Science frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, pandas, numpy) and MLOps platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML). Deep understanding of LLM architectures, NLP concepts, and the implementation of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems using LLMs. Proven ability to lead AI/ML projects in highly collaborative environments with complex technical dependencies, aligning AI strategies with organizational goals.
