Responsible for both financial and broader business support areas, you will maintain companys financial health and operational efficiency and wear multiple hats - engaging in diverse tasks that span financial management and HR.Finance and Business Support Manager , the role:Financial Management:Handling all aspects of financial transactions accounts payable and receivable as well as general ledgerEnsuring accurate and timely reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts (including bank accounts)Producing detailed monthly management accounts and other necessary financial analysis and reportsProcessing Payroll and looking after employee benefits and expensesCoordinating set up of objectives and processing of bonus/commissionOverseeing cash flow and working capitalPreparing and filling VAT returns and managing other tax related responsibilitiesOverseeing bank management activities (including negotiation of terms and maintenance of bank relationships and financial models to support business forecasting and decision making)Supervising bookkeeping activitiesMaintaining compliance with financial and regulatory standards and sustaining stringent internal controls and adherence to recognised accounting standards and principles to safeguard financial integrityHR and Business Support:Managing HR functions recruitment, onboarding processes, employee benefits and policy management, queries and issues (supported by external agencies)Line managing of Business Support OfficerFinance and Business Support Manager , the person:Minimum Level 4 AAT qualification or equivalentExtensive experience in managing financial roles within a small to medium-sized enterpriseSolid understanding of accounting principles and practices, especially double-entry bookkeepingProficient with Xero and Microsoft ExcelExceptional analytical, organisational and communication skillsStrong communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressureExperience in a multi-role capacity within a small business environment and background in HR function management would be beneficialFinance and Business Support Manager , the benefits:Competitive Salary25 days Annual Leave plus Bank HolidaysPrivate medical cover (Vitality)£100 p/m work from home allowanceFlexible and remote working optionsEnhanced pension scheme (5% employer contribution)Quarterly company eventsPure Human Resources Limited works in partnership with ICS.AI Ltd in providing Recruitment support.
