Description

Salary: £80,000 per annum | Hybrid

Our Ways of Working 
We’re all about flexibility, community and a healthy work-life balance. Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach combining the best parts of home and office working. When you'll be in the office depends on your role, but you can expect to work from our London office between 8-12 days per month. 
 
To support this, the successful applicant should be within a reasonably commutable distance to our office (Gray's Inn Road, London, WC1X 8HB).

You will play a key role in sentence of what the main impact is of the role is (e.g delivering, taking ownership of, leading, managing, developing).  
 
You’ll also be responsible for:  
  • Strategy Development: Craft and execute a comprehensive data analytics strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring that data initiatives support business growth and efficiency. 
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data analysts based on a hub and spoke model, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with departments such as Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights that drive decision-making. 
  • Visualisation and Report Design:Create and maintain intuitive, visually appealing dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into key performance indicators and business metrics. 
  • Data Security: Ensuring the highest levels of data governance and security are maintained throughout the analysis and deployment of data assets 
  • Data Analysis:Conduct deep-dive analyses into large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in our products and services. 
  • Data Quality Assurance:Implement processes and tools to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across the organization. 
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of the latest analytics tools and technologies, evaluating their potential benefit to the organization and leading the implementation of those that add value. 
  • Insight Presentation:Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to enhance data analytics processes, from data collection to analysis and reporting, to increase efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Industry Knowledge:Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, particularly within the EV and energy sectors, to ensure the company remains at the forefront of data-driven decision-making.
Electrify us with your skills:  
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring experience in Data Analytics. We’re looking for someone with: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience as a Data Analytics Manager or similar role. 
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R). 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
  • Experience in the EV or energy sector is a plus.
