Job Purpose and Summary As a Compliance generalist inthe Canon EMEA Governance, Risk Management, & Compliance team,you will be an engaging and driven individual, helping the teamwith the implementation of the new Compliance Framework.Your mainresponsibilities will involve regular horizon scanning across keycompliance areas and supporting on the assessment of regulatoryrequirements to our business. Your key stakeholders will includeCompliance Owners, the Legal Team, Regulatory & GovernmentAffairs teams, and the EMEA Compliance Sub-Committee.  Inaddition to this, you will support on related Governance and RiskManagement projects where these overlap with Compliance.Previousexperience of working in a generalist Compliance Function within alarge organisation is essential. It is crucial that the successfulcandidate has a good eye for detail and an appreciation of thebigger picture. You will be confident in building good workingrelationships with cross-functional stakeholders of varying levelsof seniority, with an ability to apply business acumen as anenabler to ComplianceWhat we giveIn addition, to a salary ofbetween £42,636 - £50,160 (depending on experience), you/'llbe eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%. We also have arange of flexible benefits including:Annual Bonus and annual payreviewHybrid working  (3 days in the office and 2 days fromhome) with flexible core hoursMinimum of 25 days of personalholiday per year with up to 5 days of available holidaypurchaseGenerous Pension SchemePrivate Healthcare and wider medicalplanUp to 38% Discount on Canon productsFree parking onsiteMulti-Faith roomDiscounted rates at Nuffield HealthGymPartnership with Mental Health First Aid UK with a network ofmental health championsGreat transport links- Elizabeth Line andStockley Park low-cost Shuttle BusLearning & DevelopmentOpportunitiesWhat we askWhilst the role has a compliance focus, youwill have a range of responsibilities across the GRCfunctions. These include:ComplianceSupporting the developmentand implementation of Compliance Framework whilst researching andcommunicating any emerging compliance matters with keystakeholders.Facilitating and supporting cross-functionalcollaboration on Compliance matters.Conducting general ComplianceHorizon Scanning and supporting key stakeholdersin maintaining a complete view of current and upcomingcompliance requirements.Supporting stakeholders with ComplianceRisk Assessments.Complete administrative tasks for ComplianceCommittee.Governance:Monitoring company policies and supportingpolicy owners to review and maintain documentation in line withCompany Policy Management.  Ensuring policies arereviewed periodically, communicating any updates, and supportingthe approval of any policies.Being the point of contact for CompanyPolicy Management queries.  Risk:Supporting EMEACompliance stakeholders with the annual riskprocess:Providing horizon insight into existing or potentialcompliance risks.Ensure compliance risks are reviewed andconsidered against any developments or responses torequirements.Supporting the business with any generalqueries.Providing critical analysis to compliance risk informationand preparing risk analysis reports as part of the EMEA RiskManagement Framework.General:Maintaining the GRC Intranet portalsand monitoring the GRC inbox.Actively monitor and share marketactivity and insights on any emerging or developing compliance andor risk matters.Be an active participant in supporting the EMEA GRCcommunity and stakeholders.You will needThis role may also be knownexternally as an Enterprise ComplianceSpecialist/Generalist.Further informationExperience of ComplianceManagement (Enterprise-wide).Strong attention to detail &organisation.The ability to manage multiple projects at thesame time, working under pressure and able to prioritise /pivot as required.Sufficient knowledge & experience of allMicrosoft office packages as well as SharePoint.To be aconfident communicator, comfortable liaising with stakeholders atvarious levels of seniority whilst building good workingrelationships.Experience of developing Executive level informationpacks.  ICA Certificate (beneficial)A keen interest inGRC.
