Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are working with a leading telecommunications company based in Cambridge who are looking to add an experienced Senior Conformance Engineer to their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position with the option of hybrid working.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement test plans to ensure products conform to internal and industry regulatory standards.
  • Assist with developing product testing roadmaps.
  • Take ownership of analysis conformance and testing results to provide technical reports back to senior stakeholders.
  • Keeping up to date with industry approval regulations and specifications for but not limited to SAR, EMC, FR.
  • Continue to build and develop test history documentation.


The successful candidate will have:

  • Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years experience within product compliance / approvals / testing.
  • Experience working with an Agile working environment.
  • Experienced with RoHS, WEEE and REACH regulations.
  • Holds certification within FFC/CE.
  • Experience with EMCD and LVD directives.
  • Experienced working with non-EU approval requirements.
