Director of Data Science

Location: London (Hybrid)

Base Salary: £190,000 - £250,000 + Bonus

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to join our client. This role will be responsible for providing advisory services to clients in areas related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and analytics, while also driving business development efforts to grow our AI and data science practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on the development and implementation of AI and data science strategies, solutions, and technologies to address business challenges and opportunities.

• Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in AI, machine learning, data science, and analytics to help clients stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.

• Lead AI and data science projects and initiatives from inception to delivery, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, data engineers, data scientists, and software developers, to design and implement AI and data science solutions that meet client needs.

• Drive business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and building relationships with clients to expand our AI and data science practice.

• Contribute to the development and growth of the firm's intellectual property and knowledge management in AI and data science.

• Mentor and coach team members to support their professional development and growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, and analytics with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving business growth.

• Strong understanding of AI and data science concepts, techniques, and tools, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and statistical analysis.

• Experience with data wrangling, data modeling, data visualization, and data mining.

• Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical concepts into business insights and solutions.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience in management consulting or professional services is preferred.
