As Director of Data & Analytics, you’ll drive our data and analytics agenda across all Bupa Dental Care as a critical pillar of our transformation plan, strategic goals, and customer and commercial ambitions. Working with a network of large cross-functional teams, you’ll place data at the heart of the business and to unlock significant transformation opportunities that deliver value for Bupa and excellent care for our customers.

About the role

As Bupa Dental’s executive business-led data champion, successfully lead the organisation towards 8 key data-led outcomes:

A clear, compelling, customer and commercially driven data strategy to support our strategic ambition that is specific and actionable.

An operating model to deliver the strategy which is clear in both BU and MU accountability and responsibility.

Robust data governance, policy and standards fully adhered to by all teams.

Effective data quality and data integrity processes.

Strong data management and effective data democratisation to drive easy access to data and insight across our businesses harnessing the latest tools, technologies, and approaches.

Leading data science and advanced data analytics competencies to drive differentiated, predictive insights and reporting, product development, service personalisation and automation.

Continual identification of new data-driven innovation, experience, and business model opportunities.

A data-led culture driven by creative engagement, communication and internal capability building.

About you

A proven Data leader with hands on experience of leading data teams to drive data transformation in large, complex corporate environments.

Executive level experience of leading data teams and building a climate that engages and excites people to land team objectives. 

Experience of delivering data science and analytics including and statistical analysis.

Good understanding of latest tools, platforms, and data provisioning software to maxmise effective insight creation and easy data access

Experience of leveraging data tools and techniques to deliver customer facing tools such as pre-emptive actions, personalization, and customer engagement.

Knowledge of how to use advanced analytics to automate or improve complex processes (for example underwriting algorithms, risk assessments, or automated payments).

Able to easily communicate analytics value and business insights to key stakeholders.

Experience in advising on data, data policies, risk assessments and implementing frameworks and key levers that deliver superior results.

Experience of leading change including cultural and behavioural change.
