Job Description

• Provide strategic direction to the team and own the Group's data strategy.
• Lead the following key functions:
  • Data design and modelling
  • Data assurance, quality and governance
  • Information Analytics
  • Data Science
• Ensure strong data governance with a focus on the continual improvement of data quality.
• Develop and provide oversight of programmes to implement transformational change which will enable the organisation to deliver products and improve services.
• Create and support an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of stakeholders, members and the wider housing community.

The Successful Applicant

• Track record of success in a leadership role; meeting challenging objectives and delivering business performance that exceeds expectations and targets
• Experience of building and managing effective relationships at a senior level including those with boards, customers, partners, and a range of stakeholders
• Experience in improving data quality with tangible outcomes
• Experience of leading and managing effective data and information functions including improvement and governance
• Experience of leading successful [change] programmes with employee, customer and stakeholder engagement, involvement, and collaboration
• Knowledge of BI areas including data design, analytics, and reporting
• Understanding of data quality concepts and managing, controlling, reporting data quality and integrity
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, development activities and best practices
• Demonstrable capability for strategic thinking
• Strong intellect with the ability to analyse complex data, review alternative solutions and reach speedy, well-formed conclusions
