The Data Science Consultant will use advanced analytic techniques to advise and support strategic, data centric decision making in sensitive organisations including police forces, defence departments and security businesses. You will have a demonstrable background in Data Science, including Mathematical modelling and Machine Learning. Essential experience required: A degree, Master's, or PhD from a top-tier university in fields such as data science, mathematics, operational research, physics, or statistics. Skilled at translating business needs into actionable solutions, working closely with clients to ensure alignment. Proven track record in conducting in-depth analysis for evidence-based decision making, developing models and analyses to support data-driven strategies. Hands-on experience with common tools such as Python, SQL, and Excel for modelling and data analysis. Experience working in the Defence and Security sector. Proven ability to lead and deliver solutions in one or more of the following areas: advanced analytics, data science, operational research models, big data platforms, data visualization, or dashboard development. A natural problem solver with an inquisitive mind, passionate about tackling complex challenges while collaborating with talented colleagues.
