Data & Business Growth ExecutiveMediaCityUK, M50 Full-time, 37.5 hours per week £30,000 to £35,000 per annum plus commission A vacancy has arisen for a Data & Business Growth Executive to help and support and promote our unique, new, convenience store brand, In:Five. Shoalter Automation (UK) Ltd, a subsidiary of the HKTV Group, is embarking on an innovative and ground-breaking new venture. As a global pioneer, we are introducing the first fully automated convenience stores to the UK market and beyond under our In:Five brand. Leveraging cutting-edge robotics, custom-engineered machinery, and intelligent software informed by the HKTV Group's vast expertise, our goal is to establish a frictionless shopping experience that will transform the industry while addressing contemporary challenges. The Data & Business Growth Executive is a hybrid role designed to drive customer acquisition and market expansion for our In:Five brand. By combining data analytics with business development expertise, this role focuses on identifying new customer segments, optimizing marketing strategies, and increasing store footfall. The successful candidate will leverage data-driven insights to create tailored business strategies aimed at attracting new customers, improving the shopping experience, and boosting sales across the chain. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Customer Insights (30%) Customer Data Analysis: Analyse customer data, including purchase behaviours, demographics, and store traffic patterns, to identify trends and opportunities for new customer acquisition. Market Research: Conduct research to understand market dynamics, competitor activities, and potential areas for store expansion or customer outreach. Sales & Traffic Optimization: Use data to optimize store layouts, product placements, and promotions to increase sales and attract more customers. Customer Segmentation: Develop customer profiles and segmentation strategies to target marketing efforts more effectively, ensuring the chain appeals to different customer demographics. Data-Driven Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns based on data insights, such as loyalty programs, personalized promotions, and digital marketing strategies. Business Development & Strategy (70%) Lead Generation & New Customer Acquisition: Identify potential new customer segments and markets by leveraging data and research insights. Develop strategies to increase footfall and grow the customer base. Partnerships & Collaborations: Seek and establish partnerships with local businesses, suppliers, and service providers to drive customer traffic and enhance store offerings. C ommunity Engagement: Develop and execute strategies for community outreach and engagement, positioning the store chain as a valuable part of local neighbourhoods. Sales Promotions & Campaigns: Design and implement data-driven promotional campaigns to attract new customers, drive repeat visits, and increase average transaction value. Store Expansion: Use data to identify potential areas for new store locations or pop-up stores, ensuring that expansion efforts are aligned with customer demand and market trends. Key Skills & Competencies Data-Driven Thinking: Strong analytical skills to interpret customer data and translate it into actionable business strategies. Business Acumen: Ability to connect data insights with broader business objectives, such as revenue growth, market penetration, and customer loyalty. Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer behaviors and the ability to create tailored strategies to meet their needs and attract new patrons. Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate insights and strategies clearly to both internal teams and external partners. Problem Solving: Creative thinker who can develop innovative solutions to drive customer acquisition and improve store performance. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI), customer management systems (CMS), and CRM platforms to manage customer data and campaign performance. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus. 3 years of experience in business development, marketing, or data analysis, ideally in a retail or consumer-facing industry. Experience in customer segmentation, market research, and sales strategy development. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in relevant data tools.
