Summary

As a Senior Data Leader you will be responsible for shaping the organisation's data strategy and teams to drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions, ensure data governance, and leverage analytics for strategic decision-making. Your role will focus on optimising the collection, management, and utilisation of data assets to align with business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and identify new market opportunities.


Responsibilities

• Align with a data strategy that delivers the organisation's data business goals and objectives. 

• Collaborate with executive leadership to identify key data opportunities and translate them into actionable initiatives. 

• Lead data governance efforts to ensure the quality, security, and compliance of data across the organisation. 

• Oversee the development of advanced analytics, dashboards, and data models to provide insights for strategic decision-making. 

• Direct cross-functional teams to optimise all aspects of data delivery and support. 

• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive data innovation and transformation. 

• Mentor and guide teams in data best practices, strategy development, and analytics to maximise the impact of data initiatives. 

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Leader. 

• Strong understanding of data analytics, governance, architecture, and data management best practices. 

• Expertise in data analytics, business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and data modelling techniques. 

• Ability to develop and communicate a clear data strategy aligned with business objectives. 

• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels including Project Managers, Data Architects, Solution Architects. 

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies, particularly Azure.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business, or a related field.
