About the Role:
Our client, a leading company in the construction industry, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Analyst to join their team. This key role involves supporting the completion of tenders and providing insightful metrics to senior management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving business growth by delivering clear and actionable analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical data and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that all reports and presentations are accessible and informative.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely completion of tenders.
• Analyse tender performance and provide detailed reports to management.
• Analyse product data to generate meaningful insights for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as required to support commercial decision-making.
• Present complex data in a clear and professional manner, ensuring it is easily understood by the intended audience.
• Engage with key users to understand their data needs, asking relevant questions to gather essential information.

 
Key Performance Indicators:

• Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and on time.
• Present data in a format suitable for end-users, ensuring clarity and usability.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of data requirements through effective interaction with key personnel.

 
The Ideal Candidate will Have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• The ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
