What we do:Traydstream’s unique AI-powered products reduce the costs, complexities, and timescales of trade finance processing for banks and large corporations. Our scalable platform uses proprietary Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to accurately digitize documents into a readable format and then applies machine learning algorithms to scrutinize for compliance with international trading rules and regulations.

 

Who you are:We are searching for someone who has the passion and the gravitas to originate, who has experience in the corporate world to command respect and who through his knowledge and expertise can be a thought leader and a rainmaker in sales. You would oversee client identification, presales, account management, mandate closure, while marshalling projects & implementations. You would originate, nurture, and grow relationships with corporates. The sales unit - creates in-depth account profiles on key clients, coordinates various teams through the sales cycle, trains sales staff within the region, manages budgets to achieve its sales and geography goals, boosts the company’s profitability and shapes the business operations within its function.

Requirements

The Sales Director will be responsible for

·       Scoping the business opportunity across countries and client segments.

·       Identify the client opportunities across corporates for digitization while analyzing prospective client needs, propose recommendations that highlight where our unique value proposition can be relevant, and/or developing new service capabilities.

·       Strategize on origination for responsible portfolio (e.g., region, prospect group)

·       Pre sales origination for responsible portfolio

·       Work closely with internal teams to build and present bespoke presentations to accelerate the sales process

·       Present product demos to potential clients to ignite interest and engagement in the Traydstream platform

·       Negotiate contract terms and close sales with clients

·       Oversee client RFPs and/or Risk Analysis requests to ensure all product information and recommendations address our clients’ requirements

·       Oversee creation of proposal documents and providing clients with detailed pricing quotations and accurate cost calculations

·       Manage and execute pilots, mandates, and oversee implementations and integrations for new clients

·       Prepare new client collateral to address new releases

·       Directly communicate with clients and resolve hurdles to ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget

·       Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams and ensuring client feedback is shared and understood by our relevant teams

·       Work closely with the Operations teams to ensure smooth & seamless processing of transactions

·       Identify and document platform risks and facilitate risk management strategies with internal product and technology teams

·       Collect and analyze data to learn more about client transactions and processes

·       Identify cross selling opportunities across client accounts

·       Support client training initiatives (both onsite and virtually) on how to use our platform

·       Support resolving tickets, client inquiries and issues in a timely manner

·       Manage client renewal dates and rates in a timely manner

·       Ensure finalisation of documentation in alignment with legal counsel for renewals

·       Work closely with Implementation & Operations to ensure that onboarding is in line with the contractual terms of the client / BAU processing and SLAs are adhered to.

·       Prepare for new release notes & walkthrough for clients

·       Provide feedback consistently to Product and Technology development teams, in constantly improving the current offering and building new products and services. 

·       Lead a team of capable, and high-powered Managers and Analysts for the region who would help originate, cross sell and spearhead accounts in the corporate and Banking client space.

 

Essential Requirements

 

·       10+ years of experience in Trade Finance and Cloud based solutions

·       A proven history of meeting sales targets and boosting profitability

·       Demonstrable experience in negotiation and meeting client requirements

·       Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress

·       Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships

·       Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

·       Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data

·       Strong vertical and lateral thinking abilities

·       Excellent active listening skills

·       Ability to build rapport and collaborate with internal cross functional teams and external client teams.

·       BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field

·       Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

·       Demonstrated success in scaling operations, achieving profitability through monetization, and driving growth in a rapidly growing / dynamic environment.

·       Strong understanding of the banking or trade finance industry is highly desirable.

·       Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

·       Exceptional leadership capabilities to drive engagement, retention, and a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

·       Experience working in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Insurance or FX industries is a plus.

·       Working knowledge of Salesforce or an equivalent CRM system

·       Self-starter and driven with an ability to inspire and nurture.
