We are now seeking a Lead AI Developer to drive the design and deployment of advanced AI systems that power our trading strategies and market insights.


The Role

As the Lead AI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's AI vision, architecture, and roadmap. You’ll lead a team of AI engineers and data scientists, collaborating closely with traders, quants, and tech stakeholders to develop production-grade AI models that directly influence trading outcomes and risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning models across the trading lifecycle.
  • Oversee end-to-end implementation of AI systems for market prediction, signal generation, and decision automation.
  • Guide model development in areas such as time series forecasting, NLP on news and reports, anomaly detection, and reinforcement learning.
  • Mentor and manage a team of AI specialists, ensuring high performance and continuous growth.
  • Collaborate with trading, quant, and engineering teams to align AI initiatives with commercial goals.
  • Stay ahead of emerging research and incorporate cutting-edge developments into the AI strategy.


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in AI applications within financial markets, ideally in commodities trading.
  • Expert-level programming skills in Python and fluency with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Experience working with real-time and historical market data, building predictive and prescriptive models.
  • Deep understanding of data engineering pipelines, model optimization, and deployment in production environments.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align technical solutions with business strategy.


Desirable

  • Exposure to high-frequency or systematic trading environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerized ML deployment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • PhD or Master’s in AI, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
