Account Manager – Onsite Recruiter | Permanent

£34,150 P/A Package including Benefits


Smart Environmental Support Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an Onsite Account Manager to support our clients, who are Waste Management specialists, based in the Southeast

The Role

The Account Manager will support recruitment service delivery across sites in Surrey and surrounding counties. Supporting in the recruitment of the flexible workforce across a number of our client sites in these locations.

The position encompasses a mixture of client management and recruitment, travel to sites will be required.


Client Management Responsibilities:

  • Fully understand client needs and maintain compliance with KPIs and company policies.
  • Actively recruit candidates for specific sites.
  • Regularly review client satisfaction and internal reports.
  • Maintain records in line with legislative requirements and provide legislative updates.
  • Collaborate with service centres and managers to ensure strong support.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Benchmark client expectations on salary, availability, and industry activity.


Recruitment Responsibilities:

  • Conduct candidate interviews, testing, and selection to meet service standards.
  • Provide work inductions and manage personnel performance.
  • Ensure staff availability to cover all positions, managing sickness and holiday coverage.
  • Oversee recruitment activities and performance management.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a recruitment background is essential
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety at work
  • Understanding of waste and recycling collection operations is an advantage
  • Must be able to demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Excellent level of English, both spoken and written is essential
  • Very good level of numeracy
  • Ability to multitask while under pressure
  • Flexible, adaptable approach is essential
  • Holding a valid and clean driving license with own car
