VIQU are partnering with a leading enterprise organisation embarking on a large-scale AI and automation transformation, investing heavily in intelligent technologies to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation across the business. They are looking for a Senior Solution Architect - AI & Automation to lead the design of enterprise-scale AI, automation, and workflow solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, architecture teams, and engineering functions to deliver secure, scalable, and future-focused technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Solution Architect - AI & Automation:
Lead the design of enterprise AI, Generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and architectural standards
Define end-to-end solution architectures across AI, automation, cloud, and enterprise platforms
Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Design integration strategies across complex enterprise environments using APIs, microservices, messaging, and cloud-native technologies
Provide architectural oversight throughout project delivery, supporting engineering teams to ensure successful implementation
Produce and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and solution artefacts using Enterprise Architecture tools
Ensure solutions meet security, governance, compliance, resilience, and scalability requirements
Contribute to technology roadmaps, architecture standards, and the ongoing adoption of emerging AI and automation technologies
Mentor Solution Architects and provide technical leadership across the wider architecture function
Key Experience Required of the Senior Solution Architect - AI & Automation:
Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or similar role designing enterprise-scale AI, Generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions
Strong experience architecting cloud-based solutions across Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms
Extensive experience working with Microsoft technologies, including 3-5 years' hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Pages)
Strong understanding of Machine Learning, Generative AI, MLOps, DevOps, and the delivery of scalable AI solutions
Knowledge of enterprise integration technologies including APIs, microservices, JSON, XML, messaging solutions, ESB, and SOA
Experience working with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Enterprise Architecture tooling
Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, backlog management, Epics, and User Stories
Knowledge of database technologies including SQL and NoSQL, alongside modern data management best practices
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences
Microsoft Solutions Architect certification is desirable, although AWS Solutions Architect certification will also be considered
