This is a fantastic opportunity to join Luminance, the pioneer of Legal-Grade™ AI for enterprise. Backed by internationally renowned VCs and named in both the Forbes AI 50 list of ‘Most Promising Private AI Companies in the World’ and Inc. 5000’s ‘Fastest Growing Companies in America’, Luminance is disrupting the legal profession around the globe.

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to join our team responsible for the ownership and enhancement of Luminance’s corporate infrastructure environment, including networking, identity, firewalls, and hybrid cloud services.

This role focuses on secure, reliable, and well-managed enterprise IT systems that support internal business operations. The successful candidate will ensure our corporate infrastructure is robust, secure, and scalable, working closely with Security and Platform teams where appropriate.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on corporate IT infrastructure rather than product platform workloads.

Responsibilities

Corporate Infrastructure & Systems

  • Maintain a predominantly Linux server environment (with some Windows) and associated supporting services.
  • Administer and secure identity systems (e.g. Entra ID / SSO integrations).
  • Manage and secure an end-user computing (EUC) estate primarily consisting of Mac (c.90%) with some Windows devices.
  • Implement high-availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for corporate systems.
  • Maintain clear infrastructure documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.

Network & Connectivity

  • Design, configure, and manage enterprise networking (LAN, WAN, VPN).
  • Manage firewalls and secure remote access solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking and connectivity issues.
  • Ensure secure and reliable connectivity across office and remote environments.

Cloud & Hybrid Environment

  • Support corporate cloud infrastructure (Azure / M365 and AWS).
  • Manage identity, access, and secure configuration of cloud-based IT services.
  • Support secure integration between cloud and on-premise systems.
  • Contribute to cloud cost optimisation and operational efficiency.

Security & Compliance Alignment

  • Implement infrastructure security best practices in partnership with the Security team.
  • Support vulnerability remediation and security hardening activities.
  • Contribute to audit readiness by ensuring infrastructure controls are implemented effectively.
  • Maintain secure configuration baselines across corporate systems.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive infrastructure reliability, resilience, and uptime.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities within IT operations.
  • Participate in vendor evaluation and technical selection for corporate IT tools.
  • Proactively identify and remediate infrastructure risks before they impact operations.

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise AI jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards and communities that reach AI engineers, ML scientists and applied research talent in the UK. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.
