Multiverse is the upskilling platform for AI and Tech adoption.

We have partnered with 1,500+ companies to deliver a new kind of learning that's transforming today’s workforce.

Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI, data, and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn+ ROI for their employers, using the skills they’ve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.

In June 2022, we announced a $220 million Series D funding round co-led by StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. With a post-money valuation of $1.7bn, the round makes us the UK’s first EdTech unicorn.

But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output.

Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.

The Mission & The Squad

Multiverse is the upskilling platform for AI and Tech adoption. We have partnered with 1,500+ companies to deliver a new kind of learning that's transforming today’s workforce. Having built a thriving apprenticeship business, we are now doubling down on our AI strategy with the launch of a groundbreakingAI Adoption Platform.

You will join theAdoption AI Team, a small foundational squad operating as a "startup" within Multiverse. We are building a category-defining product from scratch, leveraging our massive existing customer base and IP to deliver personalized, role-specific AI use cases. Our MVP already showed 10x adoption results in initial pilots, now we’re building the engine to scale it to the world.

The Challenge

This is a high-speed, greenfield environment. In your first 6 months, you will:

  • Architect for Scale:Transition our MVP into a robust, scalable production system. You’ll design and operate AWS workloads where "good enough" isn't an option.

  • Infrastructure as an Accelerator:Build and maintain the Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines that allow the squad to ship daily without friction..

  • Ship End-to-End:Move seamlessly between tweaking AWS IAM policies, optimizing the backend, and refining a React component. You aren't just building a feature; you’re building a venture.

Your Impact

  • Product Partner:You influence product decisions by determining the right technical trade-offs to deliver customer value quickly without sacrificing long-term quality.

  • Technical Excellence: You possess excellent technical skills and the ability to uplift other engineers, making a significant impact in your squad and beyond.

  • Infrastructure Ownership: You will provide reliable estimates for complex infra tasks, proactively monitor system performance, and use operational data to improve stability.

  • Delivery Leadership: You advocate for incremental delivery of value and act as a team multiplier, managing your time to drive the most business impact.

  • Mentorship: You help less experienced squadmates become better engineers through mentoring, pairing, and high-quality code reviews.

Operating Principles in Action

  • Solve for Customer Value:You don't build infra for infra's sake. Every code change is designed to ensure our users have a seamless, secure, and high-value experience.

  • Drivers, Not Passengers: You are an owner. You don't wait for a detailed spec or permissions to fix an infrastructure bottleneck; you lead the solution and bring the squad with you.

  • Be Decisive, Even in Ambiguity:In a greenfield environment, you are comfortable launching "imperfect" solutions to test and learn, course-correcting quickly without blame.

  • AI to Deliver Outcomes: You treat AI as our engine. You are excited about using tools like Cursor or Claude to accelerate your own development and enhance the platform’s capabilities.

What We Are Looking For

  • The Builder Mindset: You have a track record of building production systems from scratch (typically 5+ years, but we welcome strong candidates with equivalent experience).

  • Excited about working on greenfield projects where you have designed and operated AWS workloads and maintained Terraform modules

  • AWS & IAC Mastery: Deep experience with AWS (IAM, VPC, EC2/Lambda) and Terraform. You understand how to make infrastructure an asset, not a blocker.

  • Full-Stack Flexibility: You are a generalist at heart. You’re happy writing TypeScript/React one hour and debugging an AWS deployment the next.

  • Strategic Communication: You can explain complex architectural trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We Are Not Looking For

  • Pure Specialists:If you only want to work on "the backend" or "the infra," you’ll be frustrated here. We ship as a unit.

  • Corporate Speed: We operate like a startup. If you prefer long planning cycles and rigid specs over rapid iteration, this isn't the role for you.

  • Passive Collaborators: We don't have a "throw it over the wall" culture. If you see a problem, you own the fix.

Note: You don't need to check every single box to apply. If you're a strong Full Stack engineer who is excited about AWS but still mastering Terraform, we’d still love to hear from you. We value the 'Driver' mindset and a willingness to learn above a perfect checklist.

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 5 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days, 2 company-wide wellbeing days (M-Powered Weekend) and 8 bank holidays per year

  • Health & Wellness- private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, gym membership & wellness resources through Wellhub and access to Spill - all in one mental health support

  • Hybrid work offering - for most roles we collaborate in the office three days per week with the exception of Coaches and Instructors who collaborate in the office once a month

  • Work-from-anywhere scheme- you'll have the opportunity to work from anywhere, up to 10 days per year

  • Space to connect: Beyond the desk, we make time for weekly catch-ups, seasonal celebrations, and have a kitchen that’s always stocked!

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Advertising AI jobs in the UK requires a different approach to most technical hiring. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.

From cutting-edge startups to global giants doubling down on Britain, these companies represent the next wave of AI career opportunities.

How Many AI Tools Do You Need to Know to Get an AI Job?

If you are job hunting in AI right now it can feel like you are drowning in tools. Every week there is a new framework, a new “must-learn” platform or a new productivity app that everyone on LinkedIn seems to be using. The result is predictable: job seekers panic-learn a long list of tools without actually getting better at delivering outcomes. Here is the truth most hiring managers will quietly agree with. They do not hire you because you know 27 tools. They hire you because you can solve a problem, communicate trade-offs, ship something reliable and improve it with feedback. Tools matter, but only in service of outcomes. So how many AI tools do you actually need to know? For most AI job seekers: fewer than you think. You need a tight core toolkit plus a role-specific layer. Everything else is optional. This guide breaks it down clearly, gives you a simple framework to choose what to learn and shows you how to present your toolset on your CV, portfolio and interviews.
