We are partnering with an innovative research organisation at the forefront of artificial intelligence to hire exceptional Research Scientists and Research Engineers specialising in Multimodal AI, Vision-Language Models and Large-Scale Deep Learning Systems.

This is an opportunity to join a world-class research environment focused on advancing the next generation of AI technologies, working alongside leading researchers on cutting-edge challenges in multimodal understanding, generation, reasoning and embodied intelligence.

The Role

As a key member of the research team, you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art multimodal AI systems, driving advancements across model architecture, data infrastructure and large-scale training systems.

Key Responsibilities

AI Research & Model Development

Design and develop next-generation Vision Transformers (ViTs) and multimodal large language models.

Advance research in multimodal alignment, representation learning and long-context reasoning.

Explore and implement scalable training methodologies for large multimodal models.

Optimise model architectures to improve performance, efficiency and generalisation.Data & Dataset Development

Process and curate large-scale multimodal datasets spanning image, video, audio and text data.

Build robust data pipelines covering cleaning, filtering, annotation and quality assurance.

Develop reproducible dataset management and version control processes.

Improve training outcomes through data sampling, mixture optimisation and feedback-driven curation.AI Infrastructure & Systems

Develop distributed training frameworks for large-scale AI models.

Enhance GPU utilisation, cluster performance and resource scheduling.

Build and improve training, inference and model serving systems.

Contribute to scalable, reliable and high-performance AI infrastructure.Research to Production

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy advanced AI capabilities.

Translate research innovations into practical applications and user-facing solutions.

Support the continuous improvement and iteration of deployed models.About You

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related technical field.

Strong Python programming skills and hands-on experience with PyTorch and modern deep learning frameworks.

Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, mathematical modelling and problem-solving techniques.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Passion for advancing AI research and solving complex technical challenges.

1st Author publications in leading AI, machine learning or computer vision conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML or ICLR.

Previous experience within AI research teams, leading technology organisations or advanced R&D environments.

Experience pre-training or fine-tuning large-scale foundation models
