Quality Engineer

Location: Margate, Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focusedQuality Engineer to join an established engineering environment in Margate.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will support quality systems, regulatory compliance, auditing, non-conformance management and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support quality approvals includingAS9100, AS9110 and EASA Part 145.
• Support and conduct internal, supplier, customer and third-party audits.
• Manage non-conformances and lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement across quality, compliance and efficiency.
• Maintain calibration, authorisation and training systems.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions and documentation.
• Support EN4179 and NDT requirements.
• Deliver quality and regulatory training where required.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Identify appropriate opportunities to use AI to improve productivity and quality.

About You

• Experience in a regulatedaerospace, aviation, MRO, manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Knowledge ofAS9100 and/or AS9110.
• Internal auditing and auditor training experience.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and organisational skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.

Desirable: EASA Part 145, FAA, EN4179/NDT, supplier auditing or training experience.
