About the Team

Our team brings OpenAI’s most capable technology to the world through our products. We’ve released ChatGPT, o3, and Sora. We empower consumers and developers alike to use and access our state-of-the-art AI models, allowing them to do things that they’ve never been able to before.

Across all product lines, we ensure that these powerful tools are used responsibly. This is a key part of OpenAI’s path towards safely deploying broadly beneficial Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Safety is more important to us than unfettered growth.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to scale the product efforts and overall technical strategy for the Integrity team. The ideal candidate has prior experience solving complex forms of scaled abuse, building sophisticated protections across multiple parts of OpenAI’s product suite (ChatGPT, API, Sora). This role requires close collaboration with our product, safety, policy, user operations and engineering teams.

This position is based in London, England. We utilize a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

In this role, you will:

  • Build tooling for AI-forward investigation of malicious users

  • Develop infrastructure for the incubation of detection of novel misuse of OpenAI’s services

  • Lead full stack systems to prevent violations of OpenAI’s usage policies

  • Use data to better understand user needs and guide future product development

  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including teams in product, finance, operations and engineering.

You might thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 10+ years of product management or related industry experience.

  • Obtained a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.

  • Have proven experience working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define requirements, and guide the team through key milestones.

  • Have world-class communication and collaboration skills in working with a wide variety of cross-functional stakeholders

  • Showcase strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills, along with proven communication abilities.

    Compensation, Benefits and Perks

This is a position with OpenAI UK Ltd., which controls the hiring and management of this position.

Total compensation includes a competitive salary, generous equity, and benefits.

    • Private medical insurance covering 100% of premiums for employees and their dependents

    • Pension plan with 4% employer contribution

    • 52 weeks of maternity leave and 24 weeks of parental leave

    • Unlimited time off

    • Annual learning & development stipend ($1,500 USD equivalent per year)

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Advertising AI jobs in the UK requires a different approach to most technical hiring. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.

New AI Employers to Watch in 2026: UK and Global Companies Reshaping AI Careers

From cutting-edge startups to global giants doubling down on Britain, these companies represent the next wave of AI career opportunities.

How Many AI Tools Do You Need to Know to Get an AI Job?

If you are job hunting in AI right now it can feel like you are drowning in tools. Every week there is a new framework, a new “must-learn” platform or a new productivity app that everyone on LinkedIn seems to be using. The result is predictable: job seekers panic-learn a long list of tools without actually getting better at delivering outcomes. Here is the truth most hiring managers will quietly agree with. They do not hire you because you know 27 tools. They hire you because you can solve a problem, communicate trade-offs, ship something reliable and improve it with feedback. Tools matter, but only in service of outcomes. So how many AI tools do you actually need to know? For most AI job seekers: fewer than you think. You need a tight core toolkit plus a role-specific layer. Everything else is optional. This guide breaks it down clearly, gives you a simple framework to choose what to learn and shows you how to present your toolset on your CV, portfolio and interviews.
