Junior Power Platform Developer

Your new role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Power Platform & AI Developer to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for someone with at least two years of commercial experience who is passionate about developing business applications, automating processes, creating insightful reporting solutions, and exploring the growing opportunities presented by Artificial Intelligence.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the business to design, develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform, helping to drive efficiency, innovation and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain business applications using Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.

Build user-friendly solutions that address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.

Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Create and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.

Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and increase productivity.

Monitor and improve automation performance across the business.

Develop high-quality reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Deliver actionable insights that support business decision-making.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability across reporting solutions.

Work with SQL Server databases to retrieve, manipulate and analyse data.

Write and maintain T-SQL queries.

Support the management of tables, views and stored procedures.

Explore opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence to improve business processes.

Assist in developing AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft technologies.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies including Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder and Azure AI Services.

Contribute ideas that support continuous improvement and digital innovation.

Experience needed

Minimum 2 years' commercial experience in a business or development-focused role.

Experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps.

Strong understanding of Power Automate and business process automation.

Experience creating professional reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.

Experience writing T-SQL queries.

Understanding of database concepts including tables, views and stored procedures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Passion for technology and continuous learning.

Keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

Proactive and solution-focused mindset.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Enthusiastic team player with a customer-focused approach.
