Machine Learning Engineer

Location – Cambridge

Salary – £60,000-£120,000

Hexwired has partnered with an innovative technology company developing advanced AI and machine learning solutions for complex, real-world applications. They are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join a multidisciplinary R&D team in Cambridge working on cutting-edge machine learning projects from concept through to deployment.

The Role

* Research and develop innovative AI/ML solutions for challenging technical problems.

* Design, train and evaluate machine learning models across a variety of applications.

* Rapidly prototype, test and optimise new ideas.

* Analyse research papers and apply the latest ML techniques.

* Design experiments, interpret results and present technical findings.

Requirements

* Strong degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related STEM subject.

* Commercial or research experience in Machine Learning (industry, PhD, MSc or personal projects).

* Strong Python programming skills.

* Experience with one or more ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras or JAX.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
