Junior AI Engineer
We’re looking for a graduate who is interested in AI and technology and wants to learn how AI can be used to improve and automate business processes.
This is an ideal role for someone who is genuinely interested in AI, enjoys experimenting with new technology, and wants to build practical experience.
The role:
* Supporting the development and implementation of AI solutions to automate business processes and improve efficiency.
* Helping to design, build and test AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants.
* Supporting the use and development of solutions within Microsoft Copilot Studio.
* Working with colleagues across the University to identify opportunities where AI and automation could add value.
* Experimenting with new AI tools, platforms and open-source technologies.
* Supporting the testing, improvement and rollout of AI solutions.
Desirable:
* A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
* Completed a university project involving software development, AI, machine learning or automation.
* Experience experimenting with Large Language Models (Python, APIs, open-source tools)
* Some experience with Python, APIs, Git or open-source AI tools.
* A genuine desire to continuously learn, experiment and upskill
