Job Title: Head of AI

Location: London, UK (3 days per week in the office)

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000

Duration: 2-year fixed term (with potential to extend)

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)

Reporting to: Executive Director

The Role

Morgan Hunt are working exclusively with an international chairty who are seeking a Head of AI to drive the organisation's next phase of digital transformation, embedding AI as a practical and responsible enabler of strategic objectives.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategy and delivery. You'll assess current operations, identify high-impact AI opportunities, and define a clear roadmap aligned to organisational priorities.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll lead the design, build, and deployment of scalable AI solutions - ensuring effective adoption across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a clear AI strategy and roadmap with defined outcomes
  • Identify and prioritise opportunities to improve efficiency, services, and knowledge management
  • Design and implement scalable AI architecture integrated with existing systems
  • Lead prototyping, testing, and deployment of AI solutions
  • Drive organisational adoption through training and capability building
  • Provide strategic insight and reporting to senior stakeholders
About You
  • Proven experience delivering AI and/or data platforms at scale
  • Experience in a senior technical or leadership role (3+ years)
  • Strong understanding of modern AI approaches, including LLMs, RAG, and orchestration
  • Knowledge of cloud environments, security, and compliance considerations
